The Awards Fund of the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival Association helps to provide over 500 Cash Awards and Gift Certificates as well as many Book Awards, Trophies and Plaques, presented to many deserving performing artists across all our Sections. To merit awards, participants must reach a standard of accomplishment and demonstrate a record of achievement satisfactory to the Adjudicators. All awards are under the complete jurisdiction of the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival. With over 5,000 participants in the Festival every year, every donation, large and small, benefits and encourages students in their pursuit of excellence. YOUR donation will recognize achievement that is the result of self-discipline, teamwork and excellence.
Become a Festival Patron:
Patron donations to the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival Association enable us to provide the Victoria community with a Festival of the highest standard, year after year. Your gift will be put toward a number of expenditures, including: adjudicator fees and expenses, venue rentals, office costs, advertising and promotion, special events such as benefit concerts, and our overall general operating expenses.
GVPAF strongly respects and applauds the spirit of volunteerism and the values this spirit showcases in our community. We celebrate our 85th year in 2012 grounded on this support, and we would like to take this opportunity to say Thank You Volunteers for all of your hard work and dedication.
Festival is about volunteerism and the common goal of working together to offer yearly an opportunity for students of the performing arts to perform and learn.
When you volunteer:
