There are many different volunteer opportunities with Festival

Festival owes its success and longevity to the ongoing support of hundreds of volunteers annually. Our dedicated volunteers help create a positive cultural space that allows students and teachers to share their love of performing arts with their families, peers, and community supporters.

    Festival Volunteer

    There are a variety of roles available in all sections. This includes Cashier (at both sessions and highlights concerts), Usher, Driver, and more.

    Section Head

    Section Heads arrange for rental of venues, hiring of performance adjudicators, scheduling of performances, coordination of volunteers, connecting to the community, and producing and staging Highlight Concerts.

    Board Member

    The Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival Association is a non profit Society governed by a Board of Directors. Board members act as trustees to carry out the purpose of the Society on behalf of the Society’s membership.
