Sessions: This is the beating heart of Festival. Performers show their best to accomplished adjudicators who then share insights and encouragement. Performers participate as part of defined classes, which bring like minded young people from across Greater Victoria and beyond to learn and grow together. Adjudicators share fascinating insights in an accessible way to really communicate and inspire.

Highlight Concerts: These are a curated and highly entertaining set of performances that showcase a wide variety of developing and accomplished level performances. Marvel at the fearlessness of these young artists as they publicly share their talent and creativity, and celebrate their joy in being part of such a vibrant performing arts community.

The Roberto & Mary Wood Scholarship Concert: In one of the most dramatic events in Victoria each year, the outstanding musicians of Festival compete for a $5,000 scholarship for continuing music education. Each is nominated by adjudicators for their exceptional talent and commitment in Piano, Classical Voice, Strings, Brass & Percussion, Woodwinds or Classical Guitar. Our distinguished Jurists are only allowed to choose one recipient, although just to be chosen is a great honour and comes with a $250 award. Hear them before they become famous!
